Dubai Police force use Lamborghini, Ferrari, London Police uses Nissan Leaf electric cars as patrol cars

Is this new the trend in the Police world? Just weeks after Dubai police showed off its Lamborghini, Ferrari as patrol cars, London Police has added dozens of Nissan leaf electric cars to its fleet. Unlike the Dubai cars that will be used to track down criminal who over speed, the Nissan leaf cars will be used to attend to victims of crimes or those who contact the local police force.
