Google Glass: how it came and affect lives

Google Glass! Google Glass! yes!! it's all over the internet. We hear about it everyday. It is even the most discussed topic right in the U.S than gun control or gay marriage. How it should be used or price tag of the device. But who brought the idea of glass or wearable computing? was it Sergey Brin or Thad Starner?
For those who are unaware, Thad Starner introduced wearable computing. He first introduced it in 1993. He did not have the knowledge it would be a modern mainstream product.
Starner, during his days in high school, made his own personal wearable(very similar to Google's own Glass) back then in 1996 when he found he couldn't engaged in class.
