German club, Bayern Leverkusen said it plans to install 350 wireless internet points in the 'bay arena', a stadium with a capacity of 30,210, by July. CEO of the club Wolfgang Holzhaeuser said Tuesday that fans who wants to keep their friends up-to-the-minute action inside the stadium are unable to do so due to poor network coverage. With the quality wireless service, fans can do just that.
Other stadiums such as Madrid Santiago Bernabeu, Amsterdam and London Wembley already have wireless internet service in their stadiums.
Bayer Leverkusen are almost set to appear at next season's UEFA champions league.
