I believed this news should serve as a warning to all parents out there who allow their kids to do all sorts of things on the internet without them knowing.
A 5 year old Bristol boy, Danny Kitchen gave his parent ''a tip of the ice berg'' about his future spending habit. When Danny asked his father Greg to unlock the family's iPad that he wanted to download a free game, his father put in a passcode believing his son is doing just that. He played with the device for a further 15 minutes downloading stuff on iTunes not knowing he was spending 1,700 pounds of his parent cash on iTunes. what do you expect? he is only 5.
The Kitchen received an email about the purchase but ignored because they believed it was sent in error. However, the Kitchens were alerted about the transactions after receiving a phone call from their credit card company.
When Danny was told what he had done, he was upset and promise not to do it again. The family has received a full refund from Apple.
